After the MCAC Championship game on Saturday, May 9th, there will be a small fundraiser for the Dave Perry Scholarship at O’Sullivan’s Public House (7244 Madison St., Forest Park, IL 60130). This scholarship, named after longtime Fenwick coach, Dave Perry, provides financial assistance to student-athletes who will be pursuing water polo at the Division I level in college. Started in 2013, it is the only scholarship of its kind in Illinois and is a great opportunity for our Illinois water polo players who hope to play water polo at the highest level offered by the NCAA. Donations via cash and checks will be accepted at O’Sullivan’s; Fenwick Girls Coach, Jack Wagner, will be collecting all donations throughout the night.
Even if you are unable to attend, donations for this scholarship can be made. Please mail checks (payable to Illinois Water Polo – Memo: Dave Perry Scholarship) to Richard Marsh, President of IWP (1119 Dorr Dr., Sugar Grove, IL 60554). All donations are tax deductible.
Any questions can be directed to Kyle Perry at [email protected]
