Illinois Water Polo morns the loss of Billy Dolehide and Mark Rebora

Billy Dolehide

Long time player and official, Billy Dolehide tragically passed away last week.  Billy played water polo at Br. Rice and then the University of Illinois.  He also played with various parks in the Chicago Park District league, most recently Fernwood.  As a masters athlete, he competed with the Apostles, the Outlaws, Riverside-Brookfield, and just about any other team that needed a guy!  On the deck, Billy was an Illinois High School Association official for seventeen years.  He also officiated many years prior to the sport of water polo being sanctioned by the IHSA in 2002.  As an IHSA official, Billy worked eight state tournaments.  Billy is survived by his loving wife, Terri Dolehide, and his three children, Shannon, Logan, and Morgan.  If you would like to support the Dolehide family, you can visit their gofund me page at: https://www.gofundme.com/dolehide-family-fund or purchase a t-shirt from which all proceeds will be donated directly to the family at: https://teespring.com/honoring-bill-dolehide#pid=46&cid=2739&sid=front
