New Coach Orientation

Calling all new coaches! This three hour training program will focus on the administrative tasks & planning that goes into organizing a high school season. From the big-picture calendar of a three month season to planning a daily practice, our target audience is coaches who are brand new this spring or going into their second year and need some tips. There is no cost for this event, though we would be happy to collection donations that afternoon for the Dave Perry Memorial Scholarship, awarded annually to a handful of collegiate water polo recruits from Illinois. There is no pressure to contribute!

Interested in playing water polo in college but don’t know where to get started? Are you a coach who needs help advising an athlete? This presentation is designed to help athletes, their parents, and coaches understand the basics of the college recruiting process from D1-D3. Each year Illinois Water Polo is proud to honor it’s athletes, coaches and officials at the annual All-State Awards Banquet.
This is a fantastic opportunity for all of the water polo community in Illinois to come together and recognized the dedication and excellence of so many people.
The 2020 All State Banquet will be on Wednesday, June 3rd at the Diplomat West (681 W North Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
