Events Calendar - Illinois Water Polo

During the week of 3/18 through 3/24, Illinois Water Polo and the Metro Catholic Aquatics’ will be hosting the Dave Perry College Scholarship Awareness Week.

This week will be used to promote the scholarship and alert more coaches, parents, and athletes about this great opportunity.

Donations are always accepted, but even just posting the flyer at your pool is tremendously helpful during this week.

Starting in 2013, the IWP Board of Directors is proud to announce The Dave Perry Scholarship in honor of legendary Coach Dave Perry. Annually IWP will award money per student athlete per year, as determined by the Selection Committee in support of athletes attending College and playing water polo.

The program is intended to assist those aspiring boy and girl water polo athletes to pursue their dreams in College while honoring the long and storied legacy of Coach Perry.

Applications for the scholarship will be accepted from Monday, April 15 through Wednesday, May 15.

The Dave Perry College Scholarship Fundraiser will again take place at O’Sullivan’s in Forest Park at 6pm. This informal fundraiser is a great opportunity to help support the scholarship while catching up with water polo friends, families, and teammates!

Each year Illinois Water Polo is proud to honor it’s athletes, coaches and officials at the annual All-State Awards Banquet. This is a fantastic opportunity for all of the water polo community in Illinois to come together and recognized the dedication and excellence of so many people.

The 2019 All State Banquet will be on Tuesday May 28th.
