National State Challenge 2022 Chicago July 7-10

American Water Polo is excited to return to Chicago for the 2022 National State Challenge tournament.

Originally scheduled for 2020, they are happy to be back in the Windy City this Summer for a weekend of great water polo.

Fenwick High School and Portage Park will host the event on July 7th through July 10th

18U Boys and 18U Girls are guaranteed 5 games. If there is enough interest, a 14U Coed division will be created with 4 games guaranteed. Entry fee is $1000 per team for 18U division.

Winner in each 18U division will be awarded $1,000 prize.

$100 deposit is due by June 1st to secure your place in the tournament.

American Water Polo expects to have teams from all over Chicago and throughout the country.

This session is designed for coaches who are in their first or second year and is open to both Varsity and lower level coach. Topics include preparing for the season, organizing the season, organizing a practice, and developing community.

The USA Water Polo Women’s Division 3 National Championships at Augustana College

The USA Water Polo Women’s Division 3 National Championships will take place at the Anne Greve Lund Natatorium in the Lindberg Center on the campus Augustana College.  There will be four games total (two Saturday and two Sunday).

On Saturday, May 6 will be the two national semifinals.  At 2:00pm will be Augustana v. CMS.  At 4:00pm will be Pomona-Pitzer v. Austin.

On Sunday, May 7 will be the 3rd place and championship games.  The 3rd Place Game will be at 10:00am and the Championship game will be at 12:00pm.

Tickets are $12 for a single day or $20 for a weekend pass.  They can be purchased here: https://usawaterpolo.ticketspice.com/2023-division-iii-womens-collegiate-national-championship.  The ticket process will be cashless, so anyone interested in attending must purchase tickets through the link.
